These Terms set out the basis on which we (Overseas LifeStyle Services) will provide services to you.

We act as a general service provider and also introduce to other businesses and companies. This includes specialist and professional services providers, insurance and financial product providers. We may provide information about financial and tax matters, or discuss such with you, any such general discussion cannot be taken as financial or tax advice.
Timescales provided for completion of services are not guaranteed as we do not have control over all parts of the process of completing a service, for example government administration agencies or where third parties are involved. We will provide our services with reasonable care, skill and diligence, and wherever possible, timescales given will be based on previous experience.
In addition to specific fixed fee services and pre-agreed packages of services that we provide, we offer to:
- Gather information about your situation and provide information in relation to services and service providers
- Select a service / service provider that may be suitable
- Refer you for services, to partner service providers
How We Get Paid
We charge a fee for our services, and adhere strictly to a policy of fair charging, transparency and full disclosure.
We may be offered commission, a share of fees, or other payments from service/product providers to whom we refer you. We may accept and retain these payments, or at our discretion, pass these on, either in part or full to you, by way of cashback or discount to our fees.
The supplier of the product or service will be responsible for providing details relating to their prices and their terms and conditions to you. Using reasonable endeavour, we will explain service/product terms to you and ensure that you understand the conditions. Any decision by you, to accept a recommendation or to use a service or out a product such as insurance, is your own.
We may also charge a fee for our services when acting as solely as an introducer, and will advise you in advance of all costs, and require a signed letter of acceptance and authority from you.
Our Rates
For reference our minimum service charge is €49 +IVA
We bill for our time at following rates (IVA not included):
- General – €35 per hour (first hour €49)
- Specialist – €69 per hour (first hour €95)
- Professional – from €150 per hour
Handling Fees:
In addition to any fees agreed for our services, we charge a handling fee of 3.75% when completing payment transactions on your behalf. There is a minimum charge of €25. If we are handing a number of transactions on your behalf, the fee payable will be the greater of 3.75% of the total value of the transactions, or €25.
Deposits & Reservation Fees
Commitment / service reservation fees or deposits paid up front are offset against the invoice total.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of a service, we will charge an administration fee to cover time spent. This will be in addition to any other costs incurred, e.g. unrecoverable payments that have been made to involved third parties in relation to providing the originally contracted service.
We reserve the right to issue any refund due, after any admin fee or other costs have been taken in account, as credit note which can be used to pay for other services.
Specialist, Regulated & Professional Services
We will research services, specialist and professional service providers on your behalf, including but not limited to legal and financial services, insurance/ pension/ investment products and mortgages. When acting as an introducing agent, Overseas Lifestyle Services does not guarantee you access to the lowest cost service or product in the market.
The service or professional service / product options made available to you, will be based on your circumstances and individual product provider requirements.
Regulated services are offered in association with, or by referral to, appropriately licensed and authorised independent third parties, including but not limited to Gestors, Accountants, Lawyers, Financial Advisers, Pension and Tax Specialists, and any such services and or related advice will be given by those third parties and not by Overseas Lifestyle Services.
Complaints Procedure
Any complaint that you may have in relation to the Company or services provided, should be made in writing to Overseas Lifestyle Services, outlining the nature of the complaint. We will fully investigate any complaint and a full response will be provided.
Your Agreement
You undertake to make available all appropriate documentation as required by Overseas Lifestyle Services or the service provider, and acknowledge that failing to provide all such may affect, or even result in failure of the provision of the service or set up of the product. You accept that in such an event or any other event out of our control, we cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience, losses or costs incurred as a result of any delay or failure to provide or complete a service.
You confirm that we are fully aware and accept that Overseas Lifestyle Services as an introducing agent, may be paid a commission or share of fees, by product or service providers that they introduce or refer you to.
You further confirm that you have agreed when its relevant, to be introduced to such third parties as mentioned for services, or to review your circumstances and requirements, and or for advice, and that all costs and fees or additional terms specific to the service / product have been fully explained to you and where applicable documented in the service proposal.
When you accept a service proposal, you confirm that you have been provided with, read and understood these Terms of Service of Overseas Lifestyle Services, and that you accept and agree to them.
