Operations Manager – UK
Location: Office-based with flexible/hybrid working
Hours: Full-time – 40+ hours/week
Reports to: Company Directors

Role Purpose
Our Operations Managers are responsible for the leadership, commercial performance, and operational success of the UK and Spain-based division of Overseas Lifestyle Services. These senior leadership roles require strong team management, service oversight, and commercial acumen. The Operations Manager ensures the successful delivery of all services, fosters high performance, identifies and responds to the needs of the business, and drives business growth through new partnerships, channels, and service expansion opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across all UK team including relocation, F&T, service coordination, and administration.
- Understand and respond to evolving needs of the business; implement improvements proactively.
- Actively manage people and performance, with regular reviews, development plans, and role alignment.
- Identify performance gaps and support or intervene directly where necessary to maintain service standards.
- Step in operationally when needed to plug resource gaps or support delivery at critical points.
- Drive performance across revenue, client satisfaction, compliance, and efficiency KPIs.
- Manage and support staff including service managers, consultants, and support roles.
- Develop and implement new business strategies and channels.
- Focus on sourcing and developing new introducers, partners, and referral networks.
- Represent UK operations in strategic discussions with Spain leadership.
- Liaise with legal, tax, immigration, and external service partners as needed.
- Maintain full visibility on case progress, service quality, and escalations.
- Support recruitment, training, and retention of key Spanish personnel.
- Ensure compliance with Spanish employment law, GDPR, and service-related regulations.
- Provide regular reporting on operations, team performance, client growth, and risks.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven leadership experience in operations, service delivery, or business management.
- Strong understanding of UK-to-Spain relocation processes, particularly the NLV.
- Commercially minded with the ability to develop new client channels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong partnerships.
- Highly organised and strategic thinker, able to balance detail with big-picture goals.
- Fluent English required; Spanish language ability is a strong advantage.
- Senior experience in operations or general management
- Background in international relocation, immigration, or financial services
- Demonstrated success in team leadership and business development
- Proven ability to identify business needs and implement practical solutions
- Capable of managing diverse teams and fostering high performance
- Willingness to be hands-on when needed to cover gaps or support teams
- Fluent in English – Spanish advantageous
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven, adaptable mindset
- Confident building new partnerships and commercial relationships
